It all started with a kitten photo shoot… I was volunteering at a local private, non-profit cat rescue as a foster mom for neonatal kittens ages 0-8 weeks old. In the process, I discovered vibrant cute photos of kittens helped online adoptions. After the rescue group realized my online photos significantly increased my foster kitten adoptions, I started volunteering to do ALL of the foster cats that were brought in to Petsmart on Saturdays!! Big and little, taking brilliant colored photos of the cats helped them get adopted in no time. Without even realizing it, I was creating social practice art that would be used over and over many times in my lifetime.
